Valt. Sup. Grumello "Tirso" D.O.C.G. 2019 (0.375 l)
Special features: "Tirso" is the invented name that we wanted to use for this wine and refers to a ritual stick wrapped in ivy, vine leaves and bunches of grapes. This Grumello is part of the classic line called "Wines of the Dei”...one of the divine “nectars” produced on the steep terraces of Valtellina.
Produced in Italy - Contains sulfites - Alcohol content: 13,505 vol.

History: being one of the wines with the Valtellina Superiore Docg denomination, it has also been produced for many years, it is a “ classic” for Cantina Nera. The Nebbiolo "Chiavennasca" grapes, which we use for this wine, are harvested in the "Grumello" area, set between Sassella and Inferno, but with interesting distinctive characteristics.

Why buy it: it is a full-bodied wine, with an excellent balance, with a lively aroma , with a delicate taste and long aged in oak barrels. Elegant tannins and persistent finish. But it is also a versatile Nebbiolo, as it can be combined with Valtellina cheeses, typical cured meats, first courses, white and red meats.
