This Inferno is part of the classic line called "Vini degli Dei"...one of the divine "nectars" produced on the steep terraces of Valtellina.

Special features: It is a wine obtained through the unusual white vinification of Nebbiolo and Rossola (another native vine of Valtellina), subsequently blended with Chardonnay and Incrocio Manzoni. These last two vines are cultivated by us in the municipality of Teglio at about 500 meters above sea level.

Special features: The label of this wine takes up the shape of the "martellina" in a stylized form. However, this Valtellina Superiore Docg Inferno "sinks" its roots in the past, as it is obtained from vines over 60 years old and partly from recently planted vineyards, coming from a clonal selection of Nebbiolo "Chiavennasca" carried out by the Fojanini Foundation.

Special features: "Tirso" is the invented name that we wanted to use for this wine and refers to a ritual stick wrapped in ivy, vine leaves and bunches of grapes. According to mythology, the faithful of Dionysus (also called Bacchus), the Greek god of vines, wine and mystical delirium, exultantly agitated him at parties where a heated atmosphere reigned. This Grumello is part of the classic line called "Wines of the Dei”...one of the divine “nectars” produced on the steep terraces of Valtellina.
